How to ...

Mike found out that you can hypnotize your chicken for a few minutes and decided to try it out on sweet Matilda. First you lay the chicken on its back and keep your hand across the chest.

Big Girl Bed
While the girls and I were at Grandma's house Payton figured out how to climb out of the pack-n-play and as much as I hoped it wouldn't mean the same for the crib, it did. She was really smooth about getting out and didn't really hurt herself but who knows how good she would be in the middle of the night. The night after we came home Mike took of the front rail of her crib and a safety rail went up. The first couple nights she cried for like 2 minutes at the door but then got herself back into bed and hasn't cried since. We have yet to find her on the floor. The girl loves her bed. Here she is in her big girl bed.
Not sure about it.
Loving that she can get in and out by herself.Posted by Holly at 8:50 PM 2 comments

California Trip
Since Nana & Papa (Mike's parents) were driving to California and back in a week we decided to hitch a ride to Grandma & Grandpa's (my parents). Now that the Larsen cousins live there the kids have non stop fun. Here are some pics of the kids on a typical day at Grandma's.
Landoin riding so fast!
Kylee taking time to smell the flowers.
Baby Mia being so sweet in the stroller.
Payton checking her back to make sure no one is going to jump her!
On really special day's Aunt Melissa and cousins would come to visit too. We loved being with family!Posted by Holly at 8:05 AM 1 comments

Elmo in Hollywood
We were lucky enough to be able to join my sisters and friends for the Elmo Body exhibit in Hollywood. It is a hands on learning for kids to learn how bodies work. Here are some pics from the day.
Payton wasn't about to sit with Elmo but she gave him a high five!
Payton and Addi locked up.
She got out!

Getting ready to go down the slide. Payton became obsessed with the slide.
Baby Mia getting in on the action.
Payton running to the slide.
Landoin (he decided there is an "i" in his name)

Kylee on the wheelchair... so serious.

A Baptism and Blessing
We had an awesome opportunity to be able to be a part of Taylor Dilger and Kaden Mosley's special day! Taylor has turned 8 and decided to be baptised. We are so proud of her and thankful that she has been such an example to our girls. Kaden was able to be blessed as well. He is such a sweet baby. He didn't make a peep the whole time. Here is a picture of the group that was there.
