Do they look alike?

Here are pictures of Payton and Kylee at the same age. Thought I would compare them. I guess they do look alike. The picture of Kylee was taken with a crappy camera, pre-digital. Man what a difference.

A DiPadova Thanksgiving

This year we spent Thanksgiving with Mike's family. It was a lot of fun. All of his siblings were there except his oldest bro in Michigan. Kylee had a blast with all of her cousins and Payton got to meet her cousin Kendall who was born the same day she was. Thanksgiving day was great. Mike's mom made a delicious dinner and there was lots of family there. I had a hard time narrowing the pictures down but here is what I ended up with. No pics from the actual Thanksgiving day but what are you gonna do.

Some random pics

Here are some pics from the past couple weeks. We blessed Payton on the 4th while we had both of our parents here. It was a really nice day and her daddy gave a beautiful blessing. This is a picture of our family that day.

I took the girls to the park to try to get some cute pictures of them but Kylee wasnt having it. She just wanted to watch the kids playing with the ducks. Here she is contemplating why she got a mom that is so mean and didnt bring bread for her to feed the ducks.

No Tricks!!

Here are some pictures of mi familia on Halloween. As you can tell Kylee was Minnie Mouse, Payton was sleeping, Mike was a dirty door to door Gyno, I was fat! Kylee loved dressing up. She was so cute at the trunk or treat. She would hold her hand out, instead of her bag, and say trick or treat and then when she would get the candy she would put it in her bag and stick her hand out again for more. Mike hooked up her wagon to his electric scooter thing and drove her around and people would just keep putting candy in the wagon. She thought she was in heaven. Speaking of Mike, just in case you are wondering, he cut his hair to be bald on top and made a mustache for the costume. That is not his new Arizona look. OK that's about it for Halloween 07.

More Payton

I know it looks like completely neglect Kylee now cause of the nappy hair in this last picture but she likes it down so I am really doing what she wants so its ok.

Payton looks like a different baby now versus the pictures in the hospital. I think all babies look the same that first day.

Payton Ann

So as you all know Payton is here. She was born at 12:49 pm on the 18th, as planned. She was 8 lbs 4 oz and 21 inch long. She has her own look but we still see a lot of Kylee in her. She is really good so far. Kylee loves being a sister. She loves to rub Payton's head. She is very soft so that's good. Funny thing about you all guessing 7 lbs 8 oz is that when we left the hospital that is what she weighed.

Just thought it might be fun to see what you all think Payton will weigh and her height. We go in today at 12:30 so you better guess as soon as you see this. I will try to post pictures of her as soon as I get home and can function. So ..... next month!

Here is Kylee taking a nap with her new BFF. I unpacked Elmo yesterday from a random box I found and she hasn't left him alone since. When I got her dressed this morning she started to get mad because I Elmo wasn't dressed so I had to put a shirt on him too. She still loves her purple baby(care bear) which she has wrapped in one of the bathroom hand towels. I gave her a pink baby blanket but the purple towel apparently brings out the babies eyes or something cause that what she wants to use. Gotta let her take care of her baby so she will leave her sister alone when she comes.



P.S. Elmo is sitting on the couch staring at me with his stupid smile and wide eyes because I just got out of the shower! Perv!

Two more weeks of peeing 5 times a night!

So my Dr says that my scar from my previous csection is very thin and I have a high risk of rupturing it if I try to go naturally. I figure I might as well listen to him and have a healthy baby rather than risk my child to do it like they do on TV and the movies. I really wanted to be able to do my Lamaze breathing like I practiced from ages 8 to14.. 16.. uh.. fine, til now! I will just have to do it while I watch the women on baby story. We are scheduled to have Payton Ann on the 18th at noon-ish. I don't think My stomach could stretch big enough to last the last 2 weeks anyways. This pic was taken on Saturday and I think I am even bigger that that now. I look forward to not feeling like I got kicked in the crotch repeatedly every time I turn over or get up to pee in the night. I get to exchange that for having my abdominal muscles sliced! Woo Hoo.

Tucker she's a whale!!

I thought black was supposed to be a slimming color, what happened here? I swear the camera adds like 20 pounds. Anyways, this is me at 30 weeks. It took me 2 weeks to post it. Hope this picture brings joy to you knowing you are not a fatty in the summer in 115 degree weather.

Moving sucks!

We moved to our new house and so I all I have been doing is unpacking and crap. I will update with some pics if I ever get out of all these boxes!

There is only one man that can be this girls dad! He is alive! Chris Farley is alive! I have missed him so much. I wonder if he lives near TuPac. Maybe there will be some new movies coming out that he filmed before he "died". I look forward to it!!

Freakin' Otter Pops

So I have gained a bit of weight and I don't understand why cause I THOUGHT I was eating pretty good. So, I went over all the stuff I eat on a daily basis to make sure I was getting what I need and not much more and I realized I eat at least one Otter Pop a day. I claim Mike always eats them but now I know the truth ... Its me that eats them! It's the delicious, refreshing, sugar filled treat that needs to be cut out of my diet. I don't know if I can do it. Poncho Punch calls to me every night and my lips can't resist that numb feeling of being frozen. I even have Kylee hooked! Does anyone understand? Go get a box and see what I am talking about!

Chillin at the pool

Kylee is not much of a swimmer but she does love to be in the pool. She liked to just sit on this "boat" and just chill. Every once in a while she would lay down like me. it's funny cause when she says lay down it sounds like lounge. I like to tell Mike that his daughter is a natural lounger.

Home Sweet Home... Maybe

I know it isn't the greatest picture but here is the only one we've got on our almost house. If everything goes well and it is meant to be we will close on it the first week of August and move in a few weeks later. We shall see!

I know I am huge... dont remind me!

So I have had a few requests from those who haven't seen me in a while as to how big I am so here is a picture of me at 25 weeks. I would like to point out the crappy photography and say that men don't know why you would want a picture of yourself when you complain about your weight. I used my handy timer button to save myself from having to explain why I want to post a picture on my blog if I think I am fat.I know I am big but lets just blame it on it being my second and the fact that not all of us are as skinny as you people!!

Kylee is terrible... I mean two!!

When Kylee turned one I felt like my baby was getting old. Now that she is two I feel old. I don't feel like I should have a 2 year old telling me how to do things already. I still remember going to the hospital the day we had her. It is crazy how fast they grow up. She is lots of fun and it is nice to be able to communicate with her. She repeats pretty much everything I say so I have to be careful what I say around her. Mike doesn't like her to call him a punk apparently. She has started calling Mike and I "Mikey" and "Hody". Both of us are not fans of that so we make sure we don't laugh but it is kind of funny. I hate changing in front of her when I get out of the shower cause her cousin Haley taught her to point at me and say" EWWWW mommy!" Let me tell you, even though it is coming from a 2 year old it still hurts a little bit. She thinks Haley is so cool so she will do anything she does. Another thing she learned from her cousin and Auntie Missa is how to shake it. I sometimes walk in her room when she is playing and she is shaking any toy with a behind saying "shake it, break it" It s really funny. Well, I think that is enough to bore you for today.

Worst Mom Ever!

So I am working on the potty training thing with Kylee and so earlier when she said she had to go potty and ran to the bathroom I was glad and followed. Well, she did tinkle a bit and so I gave her some toilet paper to wipe and made her stand up to wipe to she wouldn't put her hand all up in her no no special place. Apparently that was the worst thing I could of done and she stood in the bathroom having a full breakdown for the next 20 minutes. Seriously if the gardeners were not outside making so much noise someone probably would have called the cops on me thinking I was beating her. I feel like the worst mom ever. I didn't know a 2 year old had a wiping preference otherwise I would have let her do it herself. Are kids more opinionated these days? I swear I never freaked out like that at my mom. Sure I would scream into the pillow as loud as I could but it was muffled in the pillow so it wasn't as bad. She must get it from her dad! :)

While we are here visiting Grandma in California we were able to go to Carpenteria to a small farm where Kylee and her cousins were able to see some horses and other animals. They had tons of fun. It was absolutely gorgeous there. Here are a few pictures.

It's my first time, be nice!

As with most people, this is my first time blogging. Shocking right! Well I saw that Valerie Stoleworthy had a blog and I couldn't let her be the only one showing off her cute little girl. I know after that comment you would think I would have pictures of my kid but I don't have any on my laptop to put on here. Next time I will post some, I promise. So how crazy is it that we are wives and mothers?? Sometimes I take a step back and look at my life and it is a trip that Mike and I are almost parents of two, looking to buy a home, and Mike done with school and in his career. Crazy stuff. I guess this is growing up, eh? So my kid has been waking me up at 6:15 am and I have nothing to do cause everyone else is sleeping so I figure this blog thing can be good. You will learn what a dork I am if you read these. Laura should be happy cause I will probably post often. Well, I think this is all I will write for now. Just like all first, short and sweet.
