" When you drop your soda on the floor in the middle of the mall, a friend will not only help you clean it up but will offer to share hers or get you another one.
When you say or do something stupid, a friend will say it wasn't as dumb as some of the things he's said or done himself...whether its true or not.
When you trip and fall, friend wont judge you or remark about how you should watch where you step. She'll just help you back to your feet, no questions asked."

The "official" friends Book
So I was glancing through this little book and loved all these little quotes. I really liked this one cause it reminds me of all the wonderful friends I have had in my life and the friend I would like to be. Some I have lost contact with but it doesn't mean I don't still appreciate the time we had. I really only remember mainly 2 BFF's while growing up. We had a blast playing dolls and dress up and anything else we could think of (clubs). I had awesome friends through out high school who seriously are the only reason I like to think back to those years. I love that i was able to take a couple of them with me in my next chapter of life... living on my own in Utah! Again, fun times and memories. My short single life in Cali after Utah made me a friends that I still have now. She and I had so much in common it was crazy... we were saying I love you after the first date and didn't even care what people thought! Then I met my bestest friend ever. He gets enough praise so I will move on. He did bring some new friends (family) that really make me feel like I am cared for. Then came Utah again. Man we had a lot of amazing friends. We started out with one couple and didn't see any reason to hangout with anyone else. They are awesome people and we could always count on them. I loved that I could be my crazy self and still be invited to the next Sunday dinner. We then learned that having one best friend couple didn't mean we couldn't have more. We had some friends that had a little boy the same age as our girl and decided why not bring a new friendship for ourselves and our daughter. We made great friends right away and felt as if we had been friends forever. We even got a set of wonderful Utah grandparents for Kylee. Amazing families in Utah. Then we did a hard thing and had to leave those awesome friends in Utah to start a life in Arizona. I was nervous I would be alone in my apartment never knowing anyone but I was wrong. We made better friends with past friends. They got us through our transition to Arizona. They showed us the ropes which I am extremely grateful for. Don't know if we would have fallen in love with AZ as soon as we did if it wasn't for them. Then we moved to our house and got in a amazing ward with so many possibilities of friends. Our family already has made friends with a family that we pray we will never lose. I love friends I can admire and learn from but they don't know I do... might creep them out :) Mike has introduced us to old mission friends and were not only able to get employment but a whole group of friends. The WHOLE family is awesome (there is a lot of them). I love having friends from my childhood just 45 min away. They are my family away from family! Speaking of family, how blessed am I to have 4 best friends and a daddy always there from beginning to end. Well, the point of this post was just to thank the person that has given me all these wonderful people in my life. To the friends that read my blog, a big thank you to you for putting up with me as a spastic child and now with my whole crazy family. You guys have excepted me for who I am ... little messy, unorganized, indecisive, a dork... you know! I love you all. If you ever need me please call me anytime. til then ...adios!

F to the H to the E
This last Monday Mike had a day off so we decided to have a fun Family Home Evening with the Orvin Bunch! As always tons-o-fun. We had a added bonus ... Paigee (my sister) was here to enjoy the night. So we started the night with Mike's Philly Cheese Steak Sandwiches. One word AMAZING... no better than that... PHENOMENAL... better than that ... I cant even think of a word. If you have had the Philly's at Italian Place in Utah then you know what a good Philly taste like... well Mike's is better than that. Ask the Orvin's if you think I am bias. Anyways, we then went to the water and ice for some shave ice and ice cream. Yummy! Next we headed to the Mesa Visitors Center to see the Reflections of Christ exhibit ( http://www.reflectionsofchrist.org/ ) It was a beautiful display. Can't wait until they are for sale. We then went on the temple grounds and attempted to take some pictures. These are the ones that turned out semi normal.

My baby is 6 Months!
So Payton is 6 months now and getting more and more fun each day. I am horrible and forgot to post her rolling over milestone but she started doing that around the end of Feb. She got real good around the middle of March. Now she is sitting up .... pretty good but not perfect. She has great posture. Her Doctors appointment isn't until the 2nd of May so we wont know until then how big she is. She loves food. She always wants whatever you are putting in your mouth. She is very handsy so you cant let her get too close or she will snatch it right up. She loves to talk lately and our favorite (not really) is her new high, really high, pitch scream. She loves to hear herself. Her are some cute pics of her sitting up... excuse the runny nose.
Here is Payton watching Baby Einstein. She loved it for about 20 mins.

Feeding the Ducks
So we went to the park with the Orvin's to go feed the ducks and we had tons of fun. There were like 15 ducklings. So so cute! We also got to see the boy ducks trying to show off to the ladies and wrestle in the water. Kennedy was looking oh so cute with her sun glasses so Payton had to try them on. Here are pics of the cute girls and the mommies and their kiddlings...

Shabby Apple
I am hosting a Shabby Apple party at my house on May 1st at 7:00pm. This is a clothing line that makes modest dresses. All are invited! I know most people that read my blog are not in Arizona but if you are let me know. For those of you that aren't feel free to check out http://www.shabbyapple.com/ and place an order at the party cause I think that will get you free shipping. I will let you know on that. If you are in AZ and plan on coming check out the site and let me know if there is a specific style and size you want at the party and I will request it, but do so by April 19th. I know they are a bit pricey but for a modest dress that doesn't require a undershirt... I think they are totally worth it. Email me if you have questions... hdipadova@msn.com.
Update: You get free shipping through my party!!

Big Girl in a Highchair
So I finally got the highchair out. It so funny cause with Kylee I got the chair the first thought of feeding her but with Payton I waited til I was killing my back leaning over the bouncer trying to feed her. It is so true about how you are anxious to do things with your first and then your second, third, forth, so on you just wait til it i convenient for you. poor neglected kids! Well, here are some pics of Payton in her chair. She is so funny cause she will usually take a bite of food and then either lean to the front or side and bite the chair then come back to you for more food. She is such a fun girl. We are happy to have her!

Grandpa & Grandma
This weekend we had some of my family here visiting. Payton had a lot of fun with Grandma and Grandpa. She liked watching TV with Papa and when he would lift her in the air. Grandma would talk to her and give her kisses and she would just smile. Here are a few cute pictures with them

Family Pics
As you can see from the new family pic at the top of my page we took some pics. So apparently as kids get older they get less photogenic. We had a wonderful photographer, Tiffany, and she will attest to the fact that Kylee was not haven it. She was in no mood to take any pics. We took what we could get though. Here are a few of my favorites... mostly kind of candid. Big huge thank you to Tiff for taking them!!

Lawn Body Surfing

We went to our good friends the Orvin's yesterday for a little photo shoot. Payton didn't like the feel of the grass on her skin so she would keep her arms and legs up like she is swimming. Payton is a very serious baby so it was nearly impossible to get a good smiley picture but Tiffany did a good job getting some cute pics anyways. Here are a few more of Payton and one of her cute friend Kennedy...

Thanks to Tiffany, Grant, and Kennedy for a fun time... as always!
