Payton turned 8 months yesterday. She is getting big so fast. She is totally a sassy one. She has learned if she screams when Kylee is on her or touching her I will get Kylee off so now she will screech or scream as soon as Kylee looks like she might come near here. She loves Kylee though. When Kylee lays down near her she will try to tackle/wrestle her. Its cute. I will try to get a pic of it. I love how much my girls love each other. Payton has both her bottom teeth now and still not much hair. We love her just the same. We are very blessed to have our baby girl. Here is a video of her new scooting/crawl. I figure she will get it right eventually. Excuse her lack of clothing... the bait is a little messy.

Help me!
So Payton turns 8 months this week and I am still holding on to this baby weight. I cant complain cause I only have tried to lose weight for a week. I am going to do the Weight Watchers program, without the meetings and weigh-ins, and the Slim in 6 workout video. I added the tickers to the right so that you fellow bloggers can encourage/make fun of me when my tickers show no change... or even go backward! this is my two week trial run to see if this regimen works for me. I appreciate your help!

Kylee is pretty much potty trained!!
The only accident she has had these past couple days is when she was playing with her friends and not paying attention to her body telling her to hold it! I think it is safe to say she's got it!

Accident Free!!
Today Kylee went potty on the big girl potty all day and did not have any accidents! That included two poo poos on the potty! I apologize for the dirty talk but it is a very good day for us! Today completed the 2nd week of this wonderful experience. She told me she had to go potty twice today instead of me asking or telling her to go. That gives me huge hopes for this nightmare to be over! I am very proud of her for letting go somewhat of her stubbornness. Tonight she went and got some shave ice with her daddy for a "dessert date"/reward for a accident free day. I cant wait til she is totally trained and we can resume a normal life again!

The many faces of Paytie!
For what ever the reason, since Payton got that bottom tooth she has been doing some funny faces. Her most common one is the one above. She does this face while she is concentrating and she sucks air/saliva in and out of her mouth as she does it. She cracks me up. She also has perfected the Zoolander face as well. I decided to capture them today for you all to see.

Here is the other new thing she has been doing. So she does go on her hands and knees like she wants to crawl but at the same tine she does this too. So we we will see if she crawls normal or Mowgli style. She mysteriously gets around right now across the floor to get to toys but Mike and I cant really tell how she is doing it. She is very sneaky.

Freestone Park!
The Orvin Bunch joined us on our trip as a family to Freestone Park. We had a good time as always! We fed the ducks and then Mike found an ice block and a huge hill and decided to go ice blocking. The Orvin's had never heard of it, being from Arkansas and all :), so we showed them how it is done. I think Tiffany still thinks we are nuts but that's OK! I was able to get a few pics of the girls together which is always a plus. I love dressing them alike... cheesy I know but Kylee loves matching Payton. When they aren't matching she tells me to go to Target and get one for her. Love how much she loves her sister. Anyways... good times!

Mia Rose
On Friday afternoon my sister Mandy and her husband Ryan welcomed their third child to this world. She looks super cute. We cant really tell who she looks like more but she looks like her parents so that is good. No worries as to who the father is... she was with Edward at the time! Anyways, Mia Rose is 8 lbs 6 oz and 21 inches. Her brother loves her and Isabel wanted mommy to put her back in her tummy but is accepting that is not happening. Her are the two pics I got.

Conclusion
So my poll has showed that 80%, of the people that voted, check their blog at least once a day for comments. The thing I think is interesting is that of those 80% only like 30% of them will leave a comment. So everyone looks for comments but nobody leaves them. I love getting comments because even though I like to post for my records it is nice to know people are entertained as well. I promise to be better at commenting and I think you should too!!

Is there a manual??
Seriously I don't know what the heck I am doing as far as potty training goes. It is ridiculous that Kylee is still not potty trained. It is obviously my fault but seriously this is my 4Th attempt. I am determined to succeed this time. Day one was good with only 1 1/2 accidents. Today was awful. She went in the potty once. She told me she was tired and so I told her if she wanted to lay down she needed to go potty so she wouldn't wet her bed while she slept. Well after 5 minutes of no noise in the bathroom this is what I found. She was asleep... snoring and everything. How is it she wont go potty on the potty but she will fall asleep?? Something isn't right about that. At least I got a real good laugh and a fond memory of potty training.
Here is a little video of Payton hanging out waiting and playing while Kylee is crazy on the potty. I am glad someone is having fun with this whole experience.

We've had a break through!
One of Payton's bottom teeth officially broke through her gums and the one beside it is not too far behind. This is the best pic I could get of it. You have to click on it and zoom to see somewhat of the tooth. She wont let me touch her mouth so this is as good as it gets. I really hope she didn't get used to being crabby cause I miss my happy girl. Here is another pic of her rocking on her knees. She now goes into sitting position from this position.

Pulling my weight
So as you all know Mike always works hard on our house. I try to decorate but I am not that good. I am proud of my picture wall... he could have hung it better but what are you going to do. The new thing I try to do to help is planting in the yard. Here are some of the flowers I planted in the yard a couple weeks ago and the potted flowers I did yesterday.
And last but not least.... My picture wall.

Kids!!
So the other day Kylee and I went with Grandpapa to Home Depot. Kylee got in her car seat which is right behind the passenger seat. Then Grandpapa got in and she says " Grandpapa what did you do to your hair??" She said it with genuine concern. I guess she saw his balding spot and thought he did it to himself. She said," Papa why you pull your hair out?" I Thought it was funny... hopefully some of you do.Posted by Holly at 10:26 PM 6 comments

My Friends
" When you drop your soda on the floor in the middle of the mall, a friend will not only help you clean it up but will offer to share hers or get you another one.
When you say or do something stupid, a friend will say it wasn't as dumb as some of the things he's said or done himself...whether its true or not.
When you trip and fall, friend wont judge you or remark about how you should watch where you step. She'll just help you back to your feet, no questions asked."
-Martha Bolton
The "official" friends Book
So I was glancing through this little book and loved all these little quotes. I really liked this one cause it reminds me of all the wonderful friends I have had in my life and the friend I would like to be. Some I have lost contact with but it doesn't mean I don't still appreciate the time we had. I really only remember mainly 2 BFF's while growing up. We had a blast playing dolls and dress up and anything else we could think of (clubs). I had awesome friends through out high school who seriously are the only reason I like to think back to those years. I love that i was able to take a couple of them with me in my next chapter of life... living on my own in Utah! Again, fun times and memories. My short single life in Cali after Utah made me a friends that I still have now. She and I had so much in common it was crazy... we were saying I love you after the first date and didn't even care what people thought! Then I met my bestest friend ever. He gets enough praise so I will move on. He did bring some new friends (family) that really make me feel like I am cared for. Then came Utah again. Man we had a lot of amazing friends. We started out with one couple and didn't see any reason to hangout with anyone else. They are awesome people and we could always count on them. I loved that I could be my crazy self and still be invited to the next Sunday dinner. We then learned that having one best friend couple didn't mean we couldn't have more. We had some friends that had a little boy the same age as our girl and decided why not bring a new friendship for ourselves and our daughter. We made great friends right away and felt as if we had been friends forever. We even got a set of wonderful Utah grandparents for Kylee. Amazing families in Utah. Then we did a hard thing and had to leave those awesome friends in Utah to start a life in Arizona. I was nervous I would be alone in my apartment never knowing anyone but I was wrong. We made better friends with past friends. They got us through our transition to Arizona. They showed us the ropes which I am extremely grateful for. Don't know if we would have fallen in love with AZ as soon as we did if it wasn't for them. Then we moved to our house and got in a amazing ward with so many possibilities of friends. Our family already has made friends with a family that we pray we will never lose. I love friends I can admire and learn from but they don't know I do... might creep them out :) Mike has introduced us to old mission friends and were not only able to get employment but a whole group of friends. The WHOLE family is awesome (there is a lot of them). I love having friends from my childhood just 45 min away. They are my family away from family! Speaking of family, how blessed am I to have 4 best friends and a daddy always there from beginning to end. Well, the point of this post was just to thank the person that has given me all these wonderful people in my life. To the friends that read my blog, a big thank you to you for putting up with me as a spastic child and now with my whole crazy family. You guys have excepted me for who I am ... little messy, unorganized, indecisive, a dork... you know! I love you all. If you ever need me please call me anytime. til then ...adios!

F to the H to the E
This last Monday Mike had a day off so we decided to have a fun Family Home Evening with the Orvin Bunch! As always tons-o-fun. We had a added bonus ... Paigee (my sister) was here to enjoy the night. So we started the night with Mike's Philly Cheese Steak Sandwiches. One word AMAZING... no better than that... PHENOMENAL... better than that ... I cant even think of a word. If you have had the Philly's at Italian Place in Utah then you know what a good Philly taste like... well Mike's is better than that. Ask the Orvin's if you think I am bias. Anyways, we then went to the water and ice for some shave ice and ice cream. Yummy! Next we headed to the Mesa Visitors Center to see the Reflections of Christ exhibit ( http://www.reflectionsofchrist.org/ ) It was a beautiful display. Can't wait until they are for sale. We then went on the temple grounds and attempted to take some pictures. These are the ones that turned out semi normal.
